We are so glad for such lovely weather. The forecast has been saying possible showers but it ended up being nice and sunny!
Four in hand = 12 hour slow cooked lamb shoulder; minted crushed peas and feta dressing. This was a bit of a let down. I found the lamb bit bland, it probably needed sauce. Not as tender as I thought it would be.
Pilu at freshwater – suckling pig panino with apple, mustard and rocket served with sonoma sourdough. The bread was a bit tough but I found the bread made a great pairing with pig anyways . The dish worked very well with each flavour.
Jonah’s at whale beach – vanilla panna cotta with lavender honey and fresh pomegranate. I remember ChocolateSuze’s video from last year and couldn’t help myself but wobble this baby around the same . I think this was my favourite dish it had a good level of sweetness. I love the lavender honey as well. I could eat so many of these.
Taste of sydney is held from 11th to 14th of March at Centennial Parklands.
