Sorry about the lack of posts, I had exams so I had to study and prepare for them. Not sure if anyone reads this but please do comment if you do. It will encourage me to post more!
Made a trip to the Sydney good food and wine show. I haven’t gone the other years so I was pretty much anticipating! We arrived around 10:30am only to find the lines went out the door. The gates only started opening at 10am. Must be the Gordon Ramsay fever. I managed to take some stalker photos of him when he was booksigning!

Went a to a demonstration about coffee. I have to say this guy is total pro.

It felt like a class of coffee 101, I learnt so much about coffee.
This is the liquid kitchen section

This part was mainly about wines, a spokesmen from the wine appreciation society was discussing about shiraz and it’s different blends

This was the pure shiraz, not liking the taste of it

My favourite stall, the mousse is to die for each and every flavour of them. I regret not buying since it was very pricey.

A closer look at the mousse! (well the packaging)
At the super food ideas kitchen ..
I think she mentioned she was the super food ideas editor
menu for this session is:
entree – antipasto garlic bread
main – spicy thai chicken and noodle patties (seems more like an entree to me)
dessert – white chocolate and berry cheesecake

the mirror at the top is awesome! Can see the view from the above and how she is preparing it.
entree – antipasto garlic bread

My little sample size of the dish, wasn’t very crunchy. Then again they have to whipped it up quick.
main – spicy thai chicken and noodle patties

I really like this, it had a slight tom yum taste to it (mainly due to some ingredients). Probably a recipe I want to recreate at home minus the some spicyness due to my low intolerance of spicy foods.
dessert – white chocolate and berry cheesecake

I don’t eat cheesecake a lot and the ones that i have tasted are not memorable. This one has the perfect sweetness to it. I love my sweets but not when its just too much.

I ended buying these cute little jams from St.Dalfour, they only 28grams each! So tiny. You buy 8 of them for $5, the ones that I got are orange marmalade, strawberry. royal fig and four fruits.

On the left a free sample of “Freenut smooth” which is peanut butter without the peanuts. The replacement is actually sunflower seed. It tasted so similar, obviously not as good as original but it is a great substitute if you have allergies. Also i have to note that practically all stalls that sell foods are gluten food. On the right is my small sample of almonds which is $1. I only wanted it due to the cute tin. Also purchased a prawn peeler and a small heat pack which isn’t very picture worthy =P.
